I can honestly say it was a life-changing experience. From the very beginning, I felt completely safe, at ease, and well cared for. The entire process was handled with such professionalism and kindness, which really helped put any nerves I had to rest.

I recently underwent labiaplasty surgery, and I wanted to share my experience openly and honestly for anyone who may be considering the procedure. This is important to me as I read every review going before I decided to go ahead.

This procedure was particularly important to me because I had previously undergone surgery elsewhere that unfortunately did not go as expected. As a result, this was more of a reconstructive procedure, which naturally made me feel quite anxious going into it. However, from the very first consultation, I felt reassured and supported by Amanda and Dr Hala.

They were incredibly kind, professional, and understanding. They took the time to really listen to my concerns and past experience, and I never felt rushed or dismissed. Everything was explained clearly, and I felt fully informed and comfortable every step of the way.

My surgeon Dr Hala was absolutely amazing. She approached my case with such care, honesty, and expertise, and I truly felt I was in safe hands. Given my previous experience, I knew there were limitations, but she did the very best she could and I am genuinely over the moon with the results. The outcome has exceeded my expectations, and I feel so much more confident and comfortable within my own body.

On the day of the procedure, they both once again went above and beyond to make me feel at ease. The environment was calm, respectful, and professional, which helped settle my nerves. Amanda held my hand through the numbing injections which were a bit nippy but honestly nothing you can’t handle (trust me). After that it was breeze we chatted and it was over before I knew it.

The aftercare has also been exceptional. I was provided with a comprehensive aftercare pack that included all of the essentials needed for recovery, including medication for pain management. I was also given clear, thorough guidance on what to expect, and any questions or concerns I had were handled quickly and compassionately. That ongoing support made such a difference during the healing process. Amanda was intouch with me constantly throughout the first few hours, the next morning and the few weeks after. That care doesn’t always come and it was absolutely first class and for me this made my experience so much better after my last failed procedure. No question was silly to her, she listened and supported when needed.

As someone who is self-employed as a beauty therapist, I was quite anxious about how long recovery would take and when I’d be able to return to work. I did go back after three days, working half days initially, which was manageable for me especially as I work from a home clinic. However, this was largely dependent on being able to sit comfortably especially as I also had a clitoral hood reduction. If you have the option, I would recommend allowing yourself up to two weeks off, as that seemed to be the most intense part of the recovery period. By eight weeks, I felt fully healed with no problems at all.

Overall, my experience has been incredibly positive. After a difficult first experience elsewhere, I’m so grateful to have found such a skilled and caring team. Their professionalism, kindness, and dedication truly stand out, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering this procedure especially if, like me, you’re coming from a more complex or reconstructive situation.

i had a great experience undergoing a labiaplasty and clitoral hood reduction at the Women’s Clinic in Glasgow. the procedure itself was pain-free and i didn’t feel a thing apart from the initial injections, which weren’t as bad as i thought they’d be anyways.

i found the healing process quite difficult during the first 3 weeks, however, i mentioned any questions or concerns i had to Amanda who always promptly replied and was happy to help.

i would recommend this clinic to anyone who is thinking about having the same procedure. both Amanda and Dr Hala were very friendly and professional, and made me feel comfortable the whole time. there was no judgement at all 🙂

I had a laser labiaplasty procedure due to excess tissue that was causing me day-to-day discomfort (uncomfortable wearing jeans, exercising, etc.). Amanda provided the most amazing service from pre-procedure through to post-procedure. She checked in with me every few days and answered any questions or concerns I had along the way with absolute reassurance and sound advice.

I’m so pleased with the overall result. The doctor on the day was also amazing, and the level of care I received is something I will never forget. Both the doctor and Amanda sat with me for around 30 minutes afterwards, and we even ate some cookies together, a small gesture, but one of the many reasons I rate the service so highly. It’s the little things, and this made sure the experience never felt rushed and that care was provided to the highest standard.

I cannot recommend them highly enough. I’m so pleased with my results and look forward to seeing them again

I had labiaplasty surgery 6 weeks ago. The results are very good I’m still healing at the moment but very pleased with the progress and the aesthetic now. The clinic has been great with contact Amanda has always been available to answer any questions and booking in for review with the surgeon at request. Very friendly staff making you feel at ease in a very vulnerable situation!

I honestly can’t put into words how life-changing my labiaplasty has been. I came to the Women’s Health Clinic for a Labiaplasty and Clitoral Hood Lift. Service and surgery were nothing short of outstanding. Amanda was helpful from day 1 on enquiry to every single question, concern, re-assurance, hand holding during surgery to being there for support 24/7. Dr Hala was professional and lovely and went through all concerns with me on surgery day, explained the process in full and what i should expect to achieve. The worst part of the surgery was the numbing injections, once that was done it was a breeze! Listen to Amanda when she says take it slow, do not over do it and listen to your body! I am so glad i travelled 6 hours to this clinic for my procedure, honestly it is the best thing I have ever done for myself. Confidence now 100% if not more and I have to thank Dr Hala and Amanda for that! If you are worried and not sure what to do, take the plunge, you are not being “silly” in wanting this procedure done, but make sure you are doing it for you! I had an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish with my labiaplasty. Amanda, who I dealt with throughout the whole process, was incredibly lovely and made me feel so comfortable, not once did I feel embarrassed about the procedure I wanted. Because I live quite far from the clinic, I sent my photos and communicated mainly through email, and this was all handled with such ease thanks to Amanda’s kindness and willingness to answer any questions I had. I then had a phone consultation with the surgeon, who went through every detail of what would be done and made me feel completely informed and reassured. Once my procedure date was confirmed, I received an email with everything I needed to know for before and after the surgery, which was so helpful to look back on whenever I needed it.
Before the procedure I was honestly very nervous and embarrassed, but as soon as I arrived at the clinic, Amanda and the surgeon put me at ease right away. They were amazing from start to finish, and I felt genuinely cared for. Excellent and informative service right from enquiry to end of treatment and beyond.
Amanda put me at ease straight away. It’s always difficult when you are so self conscious about how you look. All my anxiety was soon gone the minute I walked into the clinic. I no longer felt like I was the only one suffering. Amanda explained in depth what to expect if I planned to go ahead with the procedure. Every detail was covered.
I left feeling confident that I wanted to go ahead with it.
The procedure went well and the surgeon who performed it was fantastic and Amanda was encouraging throughout.
We all had a good conversation during it. I didn’t feel any pain. I left feeling good and excited about seeing the end results. Amanda kept in touch, checking everything was ok, but she was also available if I had any worries.

For years I feel as if I have suffered in silence with how I’ve felt about my labia.
I wouldn’t talk with friends being disgusted with how it looked.
But I would say the problems started to occur after perimenopause/menopause started when it became uncomfortable doing exercise , wearing certain clothing I felt as if I had to tuck in my labia.
Being told by the nhs that it was nothing wrong it was normal size , knowing this was not how my labia should feel or look.

If I could describe Amanda and Dr. Hala in one word, it would be amazing! I got labiaplasty nearly 8 weeks ago and was lucky enough to deal with these two wonderful women. It is a very personal and intimate thing to discuss with someone but from the very start Amanda made me feel very comfortable and during the procedure was the exact same with both ladies chatting away like we were out for a coffee and catchup! I had a slightly tougher journey with the healing process but Amanda was always there to answer my questions and also made sure to regularly check in with me herself. I can’t recommend the women’s clinic enough, I am delighted with the results and wish I would have booked a consultation sooner!

After living with a posterior vaginal wall prolapse for 30+ years I finally went for private corrective surgery and it has been life changing. Over the years I’ve been sent to physiotherapy for pelvic floor exercises through the NHS and even with religiously doing the exercises it never progressed, and was, in fact becoming worse with age and menopause. I knew that the other options ie, caps and creams would not actually fix the problem. The condition caused me to have to manually evacuate my bowel daily as the bulge in my vaginal wall stopped me fully emptying and caused me a lot of stress. It also affected me sexually as I felt ugly and ‘burst’ and didn’t want my husband to see, so this restricted so much, mentally and physically.
After consulting with Amanda at The Women’s Clinic I was filled with a new hope that I’d finally get my life back again and so I went ahead and got the surgery. As Amanda explained, the chair for pelvic floor tightening and the laser for tissue repair is NOT offered on the NHS and is absolutely essential for total repair and rejuvenation.
The operation went very smoothly and I was so confident with Dr Eliana, who performed the operation very quickly and efficiently and everyone made me feel so relaxed. I felt like I was with good friends.
What a game changer it has been! I no longer have any of my previous problems and my confidence has grown. My life has been transformed.
