Urinary issues, conditions and treatments

Advanced treatments for urinary-related conditions

Urinary Incontinence is a physical issue that affects millions of women worldwide.

So many issues can cause this very annoying and lifestyle limiting condition, such as childbirth, hormone changes, weight gain, diabetes, menopause and peri menopause as well as just natural wear and tear on a woman’s body during pregnancy and normal ageing.

The effects of this issue can include having to think about running to the toilet all the time “just in case”, wearing incontinence garments every day, limiting your fluid intake (which is not good for you), and putting up with interrupted sleep

However the Women’s Clinic offers two treatment options to address these worries – Urolon and CO2RE Intima laser treatment.

Urolon treatment for Stress Urinary Incontinence

Urolon is a revolutionary new clinic procedure, for women suffering from Stress Urinary Incontinence, which has been safely used in Europe for several years.

This is a ‘one off’ treatment that can truly be called a walk in and walk out procedure – the patient will walk in with Stress Urinary Incontinence and walk out with the issue completely resolved.

CO2RE Intima laser treatment for bladder issues

Urinary ‘urge’ Incontinence (UI) and overactive or leaky bladder in women can be caused by low levels of the female hormone oestrogen, a common outcome of the menopause, childbirth and other health issues.

The CO2RE Intima laser treatment has been demonstrated to significantly restore the normal vaginal architecture and environment as if the oestrogen was still there; thereby improving many of the unpleasant consequences of low oestrogen states.

Labiaplasty

We are one of few UK clinics operating the advanced CO2RE Intima Laser Medical Laser, allowing our expert clinical team to perform labial reductions and reshaping with great precision and under local anaesthetic.

Our delicate laser can remove excess skin around the labia majora, reshape protruding or asymmetrical labia minora, and remove discoloured areas.

Intima for Vaginal Health

We use the revolutionary CO2RE Intima laser to treat painful vulva and vaginal opening or vulvodynia, a common condition around the perimenopause or menopause. Using a single-use hygienic wand on the vulva tissue, CO2RE is proven to reduce pain, with almost 70% of patients reporting a significant improvement.

We also treat itchy vulva, episiotomy scars and vulval and groin lesions using the CO2RE Intima laser combined with a local anaesthetic.
